This delicious smooth spiced hot chocolate is the perfect drink to warm and calm the body whilst also providing antioxidants, fibre, protein and prebiotics for gut and overall health.
Serves: 1-2 | Time: 10 minutes
INGREDIENTS
2 tbsp Gut-Feeling
2 tbsp coconut sugar
1/8 tsp salt
1.5 cups almond milk
1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
1 cinnamon stick
1 star anise
METHOD
Combine the Gut-Feeling, coconut sugar and salt in a small saucepan and mix well.
Add a few tbsp of almond milk and whisk until smooth.
Add in the remaining ingredients and simmer on medium-low heat for 10 minutes, whisking occasionally.
Take off the heat and discard the cinnamon stick and star anise.
Serve immediately.
