Gut-Feeling Brownies

Finally – the healthy vegan brownies you've been waiting for!

We've been getting lots of requests for dairy free brownies, with separate emails coming in asking if Gut Feeling will work as an ingredient in protein brownies, coconut oil brownies or no egg brownies. The answer is yes – and here's your healthy brownies recipe for the best gooey chocolate brownies!

These gluten free brownies are the best healthy brownies we've tried – they're so easy that you don't even need gluten free flour when you're baking them.

You can easily make this into a chocolate brownie cake by leaving it unsliced when you take it out of the oven. We know you all vegan baking enthusiasts love easy desserts, and we've got lots on the way – check back soon for more! 

 

Serves: 9 |  Prep time10 minutes | Cook time: 25 minutes

Ingredients

1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
¼ cup liquid from drained black beans
⅓ cup coconut oil, melted
½ cup Gut-Feeling
¾ cup brown sugar packed, or ½ cup honey or rice malt syrup
½ tsp baking soda
¼ tsp sea salt

Top with handful of chocolate chips

 

Optional

Replace ¼ cup liquid from drained black beans with coffee

½ cup chocolate chips

Method

Add all ingredients into a blender or food processer and combine until smooth.

Stir through ½ cup chocolate chips (optional).

Pour into baking dish and top with extra chocolate chips.

Bake in oven for 25-30min or until sides move away from pan and top is dry.

Allow to cool to room temperature before slicing.

Enjoy hot or store in fridge to enjoy later.

Best served with vanilla bean icecream or nicecream.
